Spa Etiquette
Hot Stone is all about you! We aim to provide you with the highest standards
of service and personal care, in the most professional environment so you
will return and recommend us again and again.
In order that you get the best out of your Hot Stone experience, please
observe the following Spa policies and rules: |
1- Advance Booking: As our Spa fills up fast, book as far in advance as
possible. And in order to avoid the crowds, try reserving a treatment during
off-peak hours or during the week (peak hours are often late afternoons and
week-ends especially Thursdays).
2- Punctuality: Arrive on time or early. If you are late, your treatment time will
need to be shortened since the treatment room (and therapist) is generally
booked after your session.
3- Arrival: If this is your first day spa visit, let the receptionist know when you
arrive. She will ask you to complete a questionnaire on your first visit to
provide the Spa with medical and contact information. This is another reason
to arrive early.
4- Exploring the Facility: On arrival at the Spa, ask for a tour prior to your
treatment. The tour will acquaint you with your surroundings and introduce
you to any additional Spa facilities, steam rooms and relaxation rooms.
5- Cancellations: If you must cancel an appointment, give the Spa as much
advance notice as possible. Approximately 24 hours' notice is minimum to
cancel a single service, and 48 hours or more is usually required for a
package of services. This gives the Spa enough time to fill the slot.
6- Attire: We recommend that you come to the Spa in very casual
attire - something you can easily slip off. We provide towels, robes and
slippers.
7- Medical Conditions: If you have any type of medical condition, be sure to
mention it when you book an appointment. Certain treatments may not be
advisable for you. Also, before your treatment begins, let your therapist or
aesthetician know of any medical concerns. Tell the technician if you're
wearing contact lenses before you have a facial.
8- Nudity Issues: It is not required that you are unclothed in front of anyone
in the Spa. There are places where you can change. Towels and robes are
provided and can keep you continually covered. If you feel more
comfortable, it is also possible for you to wear a swimsuit during your
treatment.
